The film follows George, Dean and Muffin, inhabitants of hippie communes in a remote Colorado valley, forty years after their settlement. In a ballad through time and space, these three characters tell their individual and collective stories. Wandering from abandoned to inhabited houses, they sketch out the changes that happened in their communal life over the years.
